I recently attended a real estate seminar here in Southern California. Over a thousand agents and brokers were in the audience. The gentleman that we had come to hear speak made the following statement: "Raise your hands if you think price is the number one reason a home sells." Nearly everyone in the audience raised their hands. WRONG. Pricing alone does not sell a home and is certainly not the number one reason a home sells. Marketing is the number one reason a home sells a home and pricing is just one component of what needs to be an effective real estate marketing campaign should you want your home to sell in this current environment. "Old School" marketing methods such as open houses and real estate ads that show a realtors’ listings, with a nice picture of your home (similar to what you will see in The Real Estate Book or Homes & Land magazine) are not there to sell your home but to placate the owner into thinking that their realtor of choice is doing a great job. You may have seen advertisements from this company in one or two of the magazines previously mentioned. We do advertise on a regular basis in Homes & Land, Inside SCV Magazine, The Magazine of Santa Clarita, and Elite Magazine.

Our intent is to attract both sellers of homes and potential buyers to call us for both the real estate and mortgage services we provide but not to sell your home. On a extremely rare occasion that we may hear of a potential buyer walking into preview a listing and they actually end up buying that home. Chances are that if they are a buyer, and not represented by a real estate agent already – they are looking in a price range they can’t afford as they have not been pre-qualified.
